Just to be clear, you put the police certificate in the IV package right, not the AOS package?

False checklists are ONLY for entire packages. Something specific like a police certificate is NOT a false checklist.

Hola Saylin, yes i sent it with th IV package! So do you think they really lost it? :(

I feel your frustration. I'm waiting for a supervisor to review my ORIGINAL Marriage Certificate that I had sent. I can't believe this. It is the only original copy that I have and I sent it to avoid any RFEs. Well I have to wait the 10 days for them to review the marriage certificate. Getting another from India is just a hassle. They just want money or will not give it to you in weeks or will say that is not possible. Is so annoying.

I'm sure they'll find your Police Certificate -...Good Luck!

I am so sad... Thank you ... i hope they find mine and i wish good luck on yours too :)

I'd suggest calling NVC and asking for a supervisor. They might be able to help and find the police certificate. Be prepared to get another one though if they can't help.

You have to wait for the AOS bill to appear as PAID in the payment portal before mailing the AOS package. It'll take a day or two.

Guys please share your opinion with me :

My wife went to her doctor appointment. Unfortunately, the doctor does not want her to come in Haiti. She was coming to see me this april, she would be be 6 months. The doctor told her pregnant women do not fly out of the country. I was like : WHAT?????? It is obvious this doctor is all about money, he fears that my wife come in Haiti and have the baby, So he would lose the delivery money... smh. Now i am so disappointed, we were getting everything ready and i was thinking about playing with that big belly for the first time in my life.,. I am struggling to have my case completed at NVC before march 12th. Only our joint sponsor delayed us. She ( joint sponsor ) told us that she will have her employment letter this friday as it was the only documents that she missed to mail us her package so we can mail both petitionner and joint sponsor document to NVC. Now, i told my wife to have this greedy doctor send a formal letter to the embassy explaining the reason she will not be able to attend the interview. How do you see my case now with my wife's absence at the interview?

I think it is your interview and you should be well prepared from all your reading here on VJ

Also how long is the wait for an interview in Haiti--4 months or 6 months? I do not know. What is it?

Maybe the baby will be born by the time you get an interview and you are worrying about nothing

Last thing-never jepordize your wife and babies health just for the government.

Can she come early?

ok so lets think of other places YOU can fly that are not far for her.

What State does she live in? Is she near Mexico?

Can you get a tourist visa for vacation to mexico and then you would do most of the flying and her maybe 4 hour flight to the border of Mexico would be acceptable to the doctor.

Think outside of the box. If one door closes-open another door.

What else could you do?

Have her come NOW

Meet somewhere else where she doesn't have to travel.

I do not think it has to do with money. Your wife was sick enough that you wanted to expedite your process. So, please do not make her and baby travel so far.

Anyone else have any ideas???

-She lives in NJ, a flight to mexico would cost me over 1.000 USD for the ticket only. I do not think this would be a good choice. Recently i saw on new that mexico is having a lot of trouble, gunshot this is definitely not the place i could have my wife come for this moment.

-Yes my wife was sick because of the baby, she was at her first trimester and i am sure that she will have a girl as when she was having her noy she did not suffer that much. She got pregnant again fater 6 years, i think her system did not like this long wait..lol

- I do not see what else i could do to have her come, she does not want to come without the doctor authorization. By this decision the doctor frighten her. We were agreed that she come early this April...

What do you mean by transcrips would indicate its a tax return? I'm not sure if you mean the IRS transcripts should be included. Basically does the person filling out the I864A have to include the same things as the one filling out I864 such as the IRS transcripts, paystubs and employment letter you said was optional.

If my mother does not fill out the I864A and I just use my father's I864, how could this affect me? Just wondering since with my dad's income and mine it will be more than enough to cover the guidelines. Also, my dad has two jobs, will he need 2 employment letters, paystubs from both jobs (how many), and IRS transcripts I assume will cover both jobs correct?? :bonk:
