BC= yes

CENOMAR= no, takes one wk. before NSO issue the doc.

You Right!! My Fiancee just requested a updated copy of her CENOMAR, will take a week they said!:thumbs:

One of the choices is "others" and then you can specify and write it there what is the purpose. When I was there this afternoon to request for my birth certificate and Cenomar I just put in "others" fiancee visa. But I guess there is no problem with passport or travel choice. I think it doesn't matter. :)

Releasing of Cenomar is after 5 working days.

Releasing of Birth Certificate is after 2 hours.

I was under the impression if one goes to NSO office, You can get CENOMAR and BC same day.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

If you go directly to NSO office, yes You can get them the same day ( you start standing in line at 8am and go home at 4pm). But if you're not in a hurry you can go to third party ( same amount ), and you wait several days.

NSO Davao Releases documents same day you requested them. I think Manila has different system because the population is greater.

Thats what my Fiancee did.She went to municipal hall in her province and applied, they will take care of it to the NSO themselves.Took about a week.saved a trip to the City and like you said IF you not in a hurry!
