WHY NOT MAKE AN INFOPASS APPOINTMENT WITH USCIS AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. yOU COULD ALSO GET YOUR REPRESENTATIVE OR SENATOR INVOLVED AS 5 MONTHS IS OUTSIDE THE NORMAL PROCESSING TIME.

Also could you please find the caps lock key and turn it off. It is very hard reading an all caps post plus it is considered shouting. Thank you.

As long as the EAD/AP combo card is valid (assuming you also filed for AP with the EAD) you can travel until it expires. You might be getting it here soon without an interview. I would start with the infopass and also get a Senator or two involved.

Calling the USCIS only does two things 1) frustrates you even more, 2) leaves you with more questions than when you started--even if you ask for a Tier 2 employee.

Good luck,

Dave

While we're on the topic, please don't enlarge your font so much. It's very distracting. There's no need to change it at all really.

Hello, we are going into 10 months now after filing AOS paperwork. We finally had our AOS interview Jan. 17th and its been 2 weeks today and we still don't know if we were approved yet. Our case was also sent to CSC way back but still got an interview anyway. I called USCIS today, and the lady told me that our case was passed the 6 month processing time period and she filled out a report form and we should hear something within 15 days. Hmmm we'll see just what happens.
