They don't care about what is in a bank account - they care about your current income. If you do not meet the requirements for the poverty guideline then you need a co-sponsor who does meet the guidelines.

Putting money into a bank account before the interview will be of no help at all.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

They look at current income (but) they also look at whether it is a joint account. They even made copies of our joint credit cards at our interview. Relax on the balance and concentrate on what you can show that demonstrates comingled business.

i don't get it.

If that's the case, please put the money in my bank account

NOT FOR AOS, no. Financial co-mingling is not a big issue for AOS .

Evidence of financial co-mingling IS a big issue when you apply for the 10 year card, the Removal of Conditions case.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

The IO in Houston took our credit cards (because they had the same number but my and her name on each card, and made copies of them for his file at our AOS interview in 2008.

I would sssume that co-mingling must have been an issue for him to do that.

Each IO is a little different, we had no issues with co mingle. Gave her a copy of Costco, AAA and Bank, information from work on life and health insurance.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

No effect. Do not worry and do not attempt to mislead anyone.

Sorry to disagree, but I think $1000 bucks in the joint account looks so much better than $10 bucks.

Liken it to having 400 Horse Power under the hood of your car, or $1000 in your pocket. It just feels good to have it!

So if ya have it, why not move it into the joint acct long enough for it to show up on the bank statement.

One more feather in your cap!
