Anyone else is dreaming of their interview at night??

OMG Dreaming???? I have never been in jail, thank God, but this is horrible, I can't think straight this is really affecting my job performance, as much as I try to be busy it's not working... as for my weight loss, who can lose weight with all this stress?? not me... I'm telling u this is killing me... and to make matters worse I can't go with him because these airline fares are just out of this world.... so I really need a break from all of this.... and we don't even know if we will need a waiver because, he lost all of his deportation documents when the Mich Hurricane happened. So he is going into the embassy without knowing what they are thinking about... I mean he did his time and all but who knows with these people. ok there I vented a bit... :innocent: but it's coming just that I need more patience. God is with Us All...

Oh wow, I thought I was being a freak, but it looks like I'm very normal after all! :P

It is SO nerve wrecking, right? I feel like I haven't really been able to relax for several months now. When it's all over, I'll probably need a few months to process all this and get my stress level back to normal.

Right now I feel like every time one reason to worry goes away, another one comes up... First there's the medical, then more wait, then the interview, after that, receiving the passport with the visa.... But then it's not completely over cause I'll need to empty our house on my own, and somehow move the stuff we wanna keep to California, and then there's POE, and then getting my SS card, and then the green card, and getting my driving license in the middle of all this, get a job, and by the time I settle down, we'll have to file for removal of conditions! :dead:

Everything's gonna be ok, everything's gonna be ok: http://make-everything-ok.com/

No dreams/nightmares yet...I just filed my 2011 taxes, so I'm hoping we have everything in order. :clock:

For those of you who have done your medicals, did you get a note afterwards saying you might be eligible for a blanket waiver? I've searched the forums, and it seems like that's fine, but the fact that it say "might" freaks me out. The sheet has all the necessary vaccines on it, and they're either checked as having received them, or "not age appropriate," then at the bottom there are boxes for whether the person is eligible for immigration. It's my husband's medical, so I don't have it in front of me, but I think one box says that the vaccines are complete, another says they are incomplete and the immigrant is applying for a religious waiver, isn't applying for a waiver, or may be eligible for a blanket waiver.

Sorry but I have no idea what a "blanket waiver" means.

Did you see your husband's medical results? Are they not sealed?

What did the doctor tell him about his vaccination history?

There was a sealed envelope with a CD inside (we didn't open the envelope, but could feel the disc), and then this other very unofficial looking paper that had the vaccines marked off. I'm pretty sure that the blanket waiver means that he is waived from getting the age inappropriate vaccines, but it's the fact that the language is conditional that has me worried...it's as if the CO gets to decide whether he is medically cleared rather than the doctor. He was told his vaccination history was fine (even though he has had only one MMR shot). They just gave him his flu shot, charged him $260, and sent him on his way.

Well, it is the CO who decides eventually.

If they told him he was fine, I think you shouldn't worry :)

You know how the wording in these immigration forms is sometimes twisted!
