I wish to join you guys. I want to have a March interview sched, too. But til now we are still waiting for our email from NVC for our interview date. :( I hope they can give us a date so we can plan things ahead like scheduling our medical and all. Please pray for us.

CR1 Visa

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

06/25/24: passport received

Ive been told by the Embassy we have 7 weeks untill my interview (which lands pretty much on my birthday lol!) So we have no set date as of yet but we are looking at late March from what ive been told! I hope i have a date to post soon so i can join you all in the excitment! :)

February 2010: Met online via social networking site

1st July 2010: Met for the first time in Lake Charles, LA [11 days]

9th August 2010: Got Engaged!

September 2010: Met for the second time in Lake Charles, LA [2 weeks]

December 2010: Met for the third time in Lake Charles, LA [3 months]

18th February 2011: Got Married!

May 2011: Met for the fourth time in London, UK [2 weeks]

CR-1 Visa

USCIS

21st July 2011 - 14th December 2011

September 2012: Met for the fith time in Lake Charles, LA [3 months]

NVC

4th January 2012 - 23th January 2012

EMBASSY

25th January 2012 - 23rd March 2012

4th April 2014: Received NOA (1 year extension)

April 20th 2014: Filed for divorce

12th May 2015: Received second biometric appointment letter due to rescheduling my first appointment

May 28th 2014: Biometrics taken in Louisville, KY

October 31 2014: Received RFE requesting final divorce judgment

22nd January 2015: Received final divorce judgment & submitted to VSC

25th January 2015: Called USCIS Military hotline to enquire on gaining an extension in order to enlist in United States Army & was advised to make infopass appointment at local office as processing will take longer than 6 months on my application.

I'm not going to be able to go to the interview as much as I want to but, these flight are just rediculously over priced.

Me too, i wish i can be there..Just came back after spending two months in Nigeria...My job will surely give me any more time off

I don't think I'll be going either and for the very same reason.. Tickets are way over priced right now!!

I just saw a rountrip ticket for less than a thousand ,i am tempted to get it..I will talk to my HR tommorrow and see if they will give me at least a week vacation.. :help: :help:

Congratulations March interviewees! We are hoping to get March interview as well. However, our case was just recently completed - Feb. 8th. I do not know if we will make the cut off. :(

Keep your fingers crossed you never know, these people r crazy, lol... Good Luck... even though we do have a date to look out for, it is really nerve racking, there are so many questions that we are going over and so many possibilities of what if's...
