my husband was approved!!! funny thing was he waited 3 hours because he missed his number while he was in the bathroom. lol. that was the longest 7 hours of my life. i will see my husband soon! yay!!! :) so happy! :)

My visa was issued on 28 March as well!!!

The package we got was super obvious: there was a soft, plastic covering from the courrier service which we opened and inside was his passport (loose), some white pieces of paper with various instruct

09/28/2011- Service Request Reply(extensive background check,allow 6 months...blah-blah..)

10/07/2011- RFE(4 pages)

11/15/2011- RFE reply sent back to USCIS

12/05/2011- reply for RFE showed up in the system (took them 20 days to locate and input in the system...lucky us...)

01/11/2012- NOA2(urrrrraaaaa!!!!)

01/23/2012-case received(took 12 days...waiting for the case #)

01/27/2012-case # received(but wrong Embassy assigned...has to change)

02/01/2012-invoices are e-mailed to both of us by NVC

02/07/2012-invoices are paid(had to wait due to the wrong assignment of the embassy )

02/14/2012-both packgs are sent in

02/29/2012-checklist for a missing copy of passport(not missing in reality,but either wait 20 days for a review or send it in again,so we sent it in...)

03/09/2012-case complete( could have taken less ,but well..who cares it is complete now!!!)

Hi guys! I'm still in Paris, i bought a cheap (thus late...) train back home and i'm just waiting.

I'm really glad to see the approvals!! Hope you'll write a little review for us.

My medical went well, i'm happy to report that i have healthy lungs :D

I'm also glad i brought a letter from my doc, i just gave it to the physician and he knew everything about my condition so it went smoothly. I officially have a class B confition, so i'll make sure hubby brings proof that i'm covered by his medical insurance for the interview.

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

CONGRATS TO ALL TODAY :dance:

However, ours was denied with a chance to appeal, have no idea as to why yet all I know is that the officer tried and tried buy I guess his higher up said no. We yet have a long journey ahead of us but with hope and faith in front before anything else we will be together soon.
