Can any one tell me how i can get a court decree from the Regional Trial Court of the Philippines. I need it to attain a copy of my original birht certificate before i was adopted. Does any one know how i can go about this process? Thanks.

Its the Ecensus that told me to get the court decree from the RTC. Since i was adopted they can not issue my old birth certificate with out a court decree.

I am not to knowledgeable about the adoption process in Philippines. I searched online and found some place you could contact that might be able to assist or lead you in the right direction.

I just recieved my adopted birth certificate from the NSO. But to my surprise, there is not a raised seal on it or anything that would make it any different than the copy that i already had. Is it suppose to have a raised seal or a stamp? If not then i just wasted my money, and my time trying to get this document...And i have a copy of my original birth certificate that looks more legitimate than the copy the NSO mailed me of my adopted one....please clarify if you can. All this time i thought it wasnt original becasue it didnt have a raised seal or stamp. Thank you.

The NSO certificate is already authenticated with the bar-code on it. The raise seal birth certificate is issue at the hospital at time of birth. NSO does not have a raised seal on the copy you recieved.

Is there a way to get the raised seal birth certificate? Every where i have gone and tried to use my birth certificate that just has the bar code, it gets rejected here in the US because they expect it to have a raised seal.

You may be able to visit the nearest Philippines consulate, to get the NSO copy authenticated. They can put a gold seal and a red ribbon on it. You can't get any more authentic than that.
