Arrived 6am. There were about 10 people ahead of us. At 6:50 am a girl came around checking appointment letters. Friends, family, fiance were not allowed in. (A side note to this is any American Citizen is allowed into the American Citizen Services area which shares a outside waiting area with Immigrant Services). I made an appointment for Notary Service so I was allowed in. When you walk in there is an info desk with 2 girls directing traffic. I tried to follow my fiance in with her, but the info girl said I couldn't go. If I had waited a few minutes when it got busy it would of been easy to walk in. I decided to just wait in the halfway waiting area.

This comes from my fiance;

She entered the Immigrant Visa room and got in line at window #6. She was than asked for her medicals, passport, my divorce decree, photos of us together, her birth certificate, and her house paper which she didn't have. They also asked for a copy of my Thai entry stamp and also my bank info which included payments for internet, rent and mobile phone. She was than asked to wait. She waited until 9:45am when she was called to window #5 (thank God not #4). It was a man and he asked her the following;

1) Can you speak English? Yes a little bit So he spoke English

2) than fingerprint

3)How long do you know him? 5 years

Where did you meet him? My Bday Party

Where was your Bday party? in Chonburi

Where in Chonburi? My sisters husbands restaurant

Is he Thai or Farang? He's Farang

Where he from? Australia

Where does your Fiance live? He lives with me

So you live together; for how long? 2 years

Where do you live together for 2 years? In Jomtien 1 1/2 years and Chiang Rai 1/2 year

So he's in Thailand now? Yes he lives in Chiang Rai with me. If you want more info about him he's outside in the waiting area.

What place are you going to stay in the US? $@##%

How old is he? 47

How old are you? 24

You don't think h'se too old for you? Maybe for you you think he's too old, but not for me.

Why? Because he likes to go to the gym, and we go hiking and traveling alot. Look at the pictures. He does things that younger people do.

When will you go to the USA? When you say yes

You can pickup your passport in 2 days

I hope this helps. I have posted before a list I compiled of all the questions I got from past interviews of others on this forum. I highly suggest you get it and go over it with your fiance. Every single question they asked her was covered by this list so she knew exactly how to answer the questions before going in.

It was really crowded so my fiance didn't really know who was denied or accepted.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL. CAN'T THANK THIS FORUM AND PEOPLE IN IT ENOUGH FOR ALL THE HELP. COULDN'T OF DONE IT W/O YOU. BIG PARTY TONIGHT IN BKK............................

Congratulations! So happy for you!

:) The CO must go out to the provinces like E-saan, and see that there's no ageist in Thailand. In the Philippines, there are also some, but age doesn't matter in love. Anyway, this helps those Thai wives and fiancees to get prepared and not be intimidated by the interviewing officer. Bring it on!
