hi everyone! we're about to file for change of address. just wanna make sure that we are doing it right. my wife is the usc and she will mail I-865 to the appropriate mailing address. and I will do the AR-11 online and call USCIS. are these correct? coz i think it's so simple and just scared to miss out something. and one more thing, what do you mean by "if you have pending applications"? coz i was already approved for temporary green card last year but the removing of conditions is after 2 years. is it considered as a pending application? thanks in advance!

A pending application means you just sent in your ROC last month now you are moving so you need to call them to notify them as well as put in the paper/online change of address.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Same concern here, my visa has just been approved this January and I am flying to US tomorrow, my USC husband change his address early this month. Do we have to do the change of address filing? As per my understanding to the USCIS ruling on this, a pending application means one has submitted application to USCIS and is waiting for a decision which I don't think we are NOt in that scenario yet, BUT I AM NOT SURE..

You only have to call USCIS to notify the change of address if you have a pending petition / application.

You are required to file a change of address by law as a green card holder when you move regardless of having a pending application/petition or not.

The USC / sponsor is not required to by law but should be filing the change of address as well.

THANK YOU INKY! You got the smart answer. I had my POE today at Seattle and the immigration officer got the AR-11 form and did all the changing of the address for me. Whew! that was such a blessing aside my POE interview was fun, the officers were nicely teasing me. They were saying my USC husband must be rich why I married him. I told them nah, he has not a lot of money but is very handsome LOL
