Hi,

I am currently filing for I485 because I am married to a US Citizen. I am currently on my F1 Visa-OPT period. But I have a question about my last entry date which is different from the date shown on my I20 stamp.

Because I went to Bahamas cruise in May 2011, and my expired F1 got auto-extension at that time. On my I20, it shows my last entry date was May 5th 2011, in Port Canaveral/FL; however they didn't change my I94 at that time. so on my I94 card, it still shows my last entry date was Jun 25 2010, in Chicago.

So when filing for I485, shall I use May 5th 2011 as my last entry date and Port Canaveral as my last entry place, or write as my I94 shows (6/25/2010 and chicago)?

Plus, I have an updated I20 with no date of last entry on it.

Many thanks!!

You have to give people some time to respond.. since VJ forums are not online chats, people take time to get back to your questions.

Your last entry date means your last entry date - I would put down the actual last entry date after the Bahamas cruise, but attach an additional sheet explaining the discrepancy between the I-94 date and the last entry date.
