USCIS told me they are working on Augest now not June

I filed for I130 and it has been more then 5 months since I applied in August 22

so I called USCIS today againn but this time they told me they are processing August

Last time I called which was last week they told me June 16

Does that sound right?

If anyone else calls them and they tell you something else let me know..

I hope she is right though because then I should hear from them soon :/

I am trying not to get too excited because of the fact that it was just last wk since they told me june 16..

How did they skip from june 16 to August in 1 wk

Or maybe they updated the system? I have no idea

I usally takes that amount of time. Our file was recieved by NVC DEC 1st and the file was approved by end of May, after that still some forms had to be mailed in to them so it was completed by August. This is for Egypt but im sure it will be similar...but you are close:)

I am a July filer and am still waiting for noa2. Igor's List suggests that it is July petitions they are currently working on as these are the main ones that are getting approved at the moment. I do hope they start moving faster than they have done the last few months though.

Guys I was a August filer as well. I got NOA2 on January 9th. My case is with NVC and I'm waiting for them to generate my IV fee so i can pay and send my packages in. Do they work cases by date filed or is it a different system?
