My husband is preparing for I-864. He ordered Tax Return Transcripts online for over 2 weeks but he still doesnt have them in the mail so he's gonna submit form 1040 and W2 of 2008, 2009, 2010. But we are so confused now. Do we need to submit form 8879 IRS e-file Signature Authorization, and Schedule M (Form 1040A or 1040) Making Work Pay and Government Retiree Credits? Also, for tax year 2010, he had to pay penalties and file page 1 of Form 2210 beside 1040 and W2. We see it has a line "Attach to form 1040, 1040A,..." on form 2210 and Schedule M. Wonder if we have to submit those along with 1040 and W2.

Another question, he gets weekly paycheck. So do we have to submit 24 paychecks (equals to 6-month paychecks) or we just need to submit 6 latest weekly paycheck? Thanks a lot for your help.

If you submit the tax forms, they have to include all schedules and attachments.

Your most current pay stubs, along with any W-2's and 1099's should be enough.

Thanks, so we're gonna submit all schedules attached. But do we need to submit form 8879 IRS e-file Signature Authorization too? I dont see any instruction about 1099, just 1040 and W2. And his pay stub is weekly, so how many weekly pay stubs do we need to submit?

paystubs show CURRENT income - suggest COPIES of 2 months of paystubs.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thanks for your reply. I have another question. On his 1040 of 2010, Line 7 Wages, salaries, tips, etc. Attach form(s) W2, is $58,398. Line 16a Pension and annuities, is $29,879 (coz he withdrew from his 401k account), so on Line 22, his total income of 2010 is $88,277. His total income of 2008, 2009 were $53,048 and $51,644. So on form I-864, Question 23 My current individual annual income, do we use the amount $88,277 or $58,398? Thanks for your input.

Neither.

Write his current annual income he is making and expected to continue making for THIS year. It sounds like it should be 55,000 to 60,000.

Don't write how much he made last year as they want current income.

So to answer Question 23, My current individual annual income, he needs to take his hourly wage multiple 40, and multiple 12? And Question 25, for tax year 2010, use the amount $88,277 or $58,398? Thanks for your input.

I was wrong, I mean to answer question 23, he needs to take hourly wage multiple 40, and multiple 52? Its gonna be his current income?

None of that, as the amounts you've given were for PRIOR YEAR.

It's asking for CURRENT Year. Please compute a yearly salary amount for 2012.

Good Luck !
