Affidavit of Support

Hey everyone,

quick question,

On the guide and wherever else I look at the Affidavit of Support form that is mentioned is called I-134. However, when I found an example of a letter that the embassy is suppose to send out, it shows the form I864. So, my question is, which is it that we're suppose to fill out?

Yes, I'm aware of that. However, why is the example letter from the embassy's website states that it's it's the I-864?

Does anyone know what's the deal here from previous experiences?

I-134 is for the K-1 Visa, to be submitted to the embassy, once you get approval for the visa and your beneficiary travels to the US and you get married, then you file the I-864. Which is why the embassy uses the poverty guidelines for the I-864 for the I-134.
