HOW DO U PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER?

Great questions but really it is not that bad. This is my second time as my first fiancee did not work out 5 years ago so I stopped process. What you will need to do as I have other friends that went through this is to have a binder with all of your supporting docs, financials etc from your fiancee readily available so you can quickly pull what is needed when asked by the interviewer. The rest of the stuff that others shared is really simple if you follow the flow chart. I hired an Attorney last time and now realize it was a waste of money. When I get stumped I just ask a questions and the kind members help...

Good luck!

Good Luck, keep an extra copy and send one, a copy to your K-1. Electronic will do. FYI both of you need to know the process backward and forward to double check each other, no RFE hopefully that way. Good Luck.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Also, double check everything and do not miss even the little thing in the packet, dates signed, and of course, signatures. N/A and NONEs too, if you miss that, that would only mean "RFE". It is better to put in some more photos and emails and mails than less, or you'll get RFE. The bottom line: evidence matters to them.

I forgot one box, got an RFE, added a few days to the process. But i hope if he sent it in yesterday he triple checked everything. Fill in your timeline as well if he did send it in.

Electronic = Anything you've filled out on the computer to print off, make sure you keep it. The idea is that you can create an exact copy of what you send to USCIS, partly for when you get to NOA2 stage and partly because if the worst comes to the worst it's always good to have a backup!

One thing I would absolutely categorically stress here is to take your time. The process takes months to complete once you apply, an extra few days going over everything isn't going to make much of a difference! The guides on here are wonderful but there are others and I found it quite useful to google around since I'm the type that asks for second opinions all the time.

It might also help to go over things with a friend sat with you. The forms are daunting when you consider how much is at stake!

If you still have doubts, then don't worry. So long as you've taken your time and made sure everything is okay, you should be fine. When Lorie and I went to submit ours, I put the folder into the box and sealed it straight away. otherwise we knew we would constantly worry!

The three golden rules (for us)

1: Check and RE-CHECK everything

2: Take copies of EVERYTHING

3: Get organised, it'll help for NOA2 and AOS

I also forgot one little box and got a RFE, only added a week to the process, but I was really worried about it adding up to 2 months. Don't do it: open the example forms side by side with yours and check everything. For my packet 3 stuff, I think I'm going to print the example forms and check it that way.

Yahoo chat is our primary way of communicating also, and I worried a little about the nearly complete lack of email and phone calls. I even took some screen captures of yahoo while chatting and sent those. I also wrote about it in the how you met section describing how we keep in contact. I included maybe 5 of the chat logs, spreading out the dates to cover the period since we had met up to the filing date.

I put it in caps because that is how I have it printed in Word. That is how my TOC is going to look in the binder.

Even when I fill out VA Forms, Government Forms, School Forms, I always use CAPS, easier to read for most people and looks a little more professional.

If I was shouting then the whole thing would have been directed at someone. Stop being so sensitive over CAPS. Sad Really!

On forms, I understand because it's mainly words. But we're not on a form here, we're on a forUm, and in forums rules it's assimilated like shouting. A whole text in caps is really not nice to read.
