my(221g)letter says this

1 Notarized explanation from you and your petitioner of how and when you first met and why you decided to get engaged.

2 List of all engagement ceremony guests,their relationship to you,their addresses and their phone numbers.

3 Itemized emails and/or postmarked letters or cards between you and your fiancee.

4 Photos of you and the petitioner before,during,and after your engagement.

5 Notarized statement signed by the applicant's parents discussing their views of the engagement.

6 Notarized copy of your fiancee's passport.

7 Voter's ID card and Voter's list for the past 5 years of the beneficiary...

Did you and your fiancee provide any of the document list in the packet 3?

Proof of relationship (Photos, emails, chat logs YM, Skype, letters/Cards phone records), Letter of how you met, Letter of intent to marry from both of you?

I not sure how it works in New Delhi but if she is under 25 yrs she may need a letter of consent from her parents or guardian approving of her engagement/marriage?

Did you provide copies of your passport (petitioner) with entry stamps to New Delhi?

7. Voter's ID card and Voter's list for the past 5 years of the beneficiary... No Sure on this request. It maybe country specific requirement.

At my interview he don't want to see any relationship proof..

My interview just for 5mins after that he gave me 221g with my passport. in few days i sumbit all things with my passport now waiting for reply...

Am badly worried about this ..

Giving back your passport means. You did not submit a complete visa application package. Missing documents etc...

You will need to submit all the required documents request in the 221G letter.

The same letter I have received back in oct, 2010. I do not know about your case and proofs that you submitted, do you have any red flags? like interracial relationship, age gap, divorce, application after only one meeting, less pics or pics which include only both of you not your parents and friends, not having engagement ceremony etc.

Please explain your situation so that you can get a better answer.

There is no time limit for this, it might take one week to three months.

Every case is different but according to VJ, there have been very less approval in New Delhi when it come to 221G for K1.

I was know everything about k1 visa.. thats why i have email and phone bill and all relationship Proof from 2009 to 2012 and photos and ring engagement ceremony like hindu culture.. but its hurt,...at my interview CO only ask some Qus then he gave me 221g... i told him all papers in my hand right now pls check sir i try to show him my relationship proof but .. CO said no i don't want to see, go and submit this 221g relationship proof in VFS with Passport.

i have submitted all relationship proof as 221g in VFS , In the embassy they have my passport now 10days gone i have no idea what they are doing ...hope everything will be fine.

i just want to know

Hi there, I'm just gonna share my experience but I can't guarantee it 100%. When we processed for 221g, I got this form like 3 or 4 times. Ours was to provide a fathers consent from my child's father and her US passport. I can't provide it and we had to go through court hearing which took us like more than a year. Before the 1 year period they gave us to submit, I went back to the US embassy telling them I need more time so they gave me another year. Then, my fiance and I decided to just let me go and have my daughter follow-to-join, so I went back to the embassy and ask them what I need if I go first and they gave me this form again. I need new medical, etc. Then we changed our mind that will just wait for my daughter's new birth certificate and passport. So we waited and after, we went back to the embassy. But then, they gave us a form again to provide new tax, new evidences, medical etc. So I tried to have them and returned to the embassy again. I went there wednesday but since that monday was close, too many people ahead of us so she just took our passport and all documents.

Wednesday we went there, then on monday, they called me and told me that I can pick up our passport.

So just try to gather what they need. I almost lose hope with ours but we did what we can. It's not what they wanted coz I just gave them a corrected birth certificate of my daughter that the father doesn't exist.

Hello Ann25.... its really hurt .. this is my 1st 221g for some additional relationship proof with my passport.. so i did i sumbitted all proof as they want along with my passport. i think in 1week i will get back my passport then i will update more....
