Kinda off Topic. Why do Jollebees and McDoos have Armed Guards with Shotguns?

I noticed that as well. I noticed it in almost all the central and south American countries I visited as well. I never saw that in any Budhist country I visited in SE Asia. Maybe countries with high percentages of Catholics are more prone to robbery and violence.

Other countries are probably more violent, but those tend to be religious conflicts.

FYI the Philippines were a US territory at the time of WW2 and the attack on those islands was every bit as much a direct attack on the US as was the attack on Pearl Harbor.

shhhhhh!!! The boyscouts are giving history lessons.

We let them down as our Allies before. (McAuthor I will return) After how many were Murdered.

Field Marshal McAuthor said "I shall return" and he did. However he would have been doing the Philippines a favor if he let the Japanese keep it until the end of the war. When the Japanese attacked

he declared Manila an "Open City" to spare it the destruction that would come with defending it.

The US was "Island hopping", bypassing strongly held Japanese islands and the Philippines could have been bypassed likewise. McAuthor chose to take it back militarily though it was not militarily necessary. Mostly for his Ego I think. Im sure the soldiers left behind on Batan and Coregidor who were now prisoners were on his conscious.

By the way, He was ordered to leave in the first place by FDR.

Give it about 4 more years and all the Pinays will be here anyway and the military will lose all interest in going there.

The problem is: Are you feeling to safe to look outside the box. Consequences for retardedness. You people are just like me and the inhabitants of this World. You are just a number which is just 1.

We need to immediately implement plans to put a small force back on Clark AirForce Base. Yes, the peace keeper game again.

Face it. If you were a Military Offensive power. Where would you first attack to gain control of that region. The Philippines. Are they ready, No. Are we? No.
