Hi I am new here. Me and my fiance are planning to file K1 visa first week of February. I am the beneficiary. In my G325A form I wrote unemployed because I've been jobless for more than a year now. I'd to know if my being unemployed have any negative affect on our petition? I've been worried thinking about my situation.

No it will not have a negative on your petition. The US Citizen (Petitioner) bares the financial responsibility for you. The only one that needs to have a job is the US Citizen (Petitioner). if the petitioner does not have a job or does not meet the poverty line requirements for US Poverty Line. The Petitioner will need to get a Co-sponser.

Correct ! Be sure the Petitioner meets the Income Requirements. Your Income as a Benificiary does not matter at all.

Warning: A K-1 Visa can be Denied even if a Co-Sponsor is listed in the Philippines. Case by Case review but entirely up to the Consulate.

LOL. Never said if Philippines or not>>>>

What do you mean by state support, unemployment, disbility or ???

Without a way for the petitioner to meet income requirements you will not get approved.
