Bigot is a word that libs like to cry too often when they don't get their way. Eventually there's going to be a revolution in this country...it's coming and when it hits there's going to be some changes in this country...big changes. And those whiny libs that like to cry bigot at the drop of the hat...well their going to find out what happens when you push normal Americans too far.

Normal Americans - unlike you - do not support discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. In fact, normal Americans support equal marriage rights for homosexuals.

Normal Americans - unlike you - do not support discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. In fact, normal Americans support equal marriage rights for homosexuals.

So the majority of people who vote aren't "normal Americans?"

I believe we've seen in state after state "Normal Americans" enacting state constitutions to reject homosexual marriages.

Whether it's "right or wrong' is subjective, but the fact stands that a majority has said "no."

Revolution? The average person won't even get up off the couch to change the channel if the remote is broken. Eventually there is going to be a lot of whining and complaining about how we need a revoution, but it won't go much further than that.

The Occupy crowd was supposed to do something about it while they were doing nothing about it.

So the majority of people who vote aren't "normal Americans?"

There isn't a single state that has outlawed same sex marriage with anything even close to a majority of eligible voters. Not one. It is also worth noting that the tide has turned against the same sex marriage opposition only recently. I think it was early - mid last year that, for the first time ever, a majority of Americans supports same sex marriage rights. You see, time is working against bigotry. It always has and it always will.

so random sampling polls are the same as people actually showing up to vote?

Wheter or not actual "eligible" voters believe one thing or another is irrelevant unless they actually show up at the polls to vote.

Apparently despite the fact that a "majority" might support homosexual marriages, they don't care enough about it to vote FOR it. The ones that are against it seem to care enough to show how they feel however and at the end of the day, that's what matters.

Oh and just because you don't support homosexual marriage, doesn't make you a bigot. I know it's easy to throw that word around as a "gotcha" tactic, but not supporting something that's not a part of government to begin with, doesn't necessarily make you bigoted in not wanting to change the 'status quo.'

This seems correct but the conclusion you draw is not. And again, the majority support for same sex marriage did not exist until last year. Support has been growing for some time and will continue to grow. It's bound to show in votes on ballot initiatives same as it does in the polls eventually. The country is moving forward and scary as it may be for some, America will reach the 21st century on day.

Oh and just because you don't support homosexual marriage, doesn't make you a bigot.

It has nothing to do with supporting or not supporting homosexual marriage. This bill makes it legal to actively discriminate against homosexual couples. In other words they have said it's OK to be a bigot in New Hampshire - the law has your back.

If I read the article correctly, (and I did), state rep Frank Sapareto is trying to justify this bill by comparing homosexual couples to Nazi's. There's no reason for people to be duplicitous about bigoted actions. They are not fooling anyone but themselves.

Still trying to figure out what's inherently wrong with letting a business practice the way they wish to in regards to who they serve.

I rather see these in museums and history books. No need for blatantly bigoted signs like these to re-appear in Americas landscape.

Because it's not fair and in America, everything has to be fair - even to the point of giving people special help.

You're ignorant as hell if you think that just because you might be all of those things you haven't experienced discrimination.

I might be a white able-bodied male, but I've had my fair share of instances growing up of being bullied, harassed, teased, etc..... and not just by other little white kids either. Of course this is what happens when you grow up in a mixed-culture/mixed-income city like Fort Worth. It's not all "black and white" as it is in the north-eastern US where racism is rampant.
