Hi prismejiaprotillo, I'm glad to communicate with you, we are not using a lawyer, and to be honest with you I don't think that I am going to go, because the day falls of the week, it would just take all of my vacation days and the air fares are out of this world, anyway...I live in Florida and my husband lives close to San Pedro. As for your question: (How long have you been told he might have to wait before returning to the states?) We have not been told that by anybody from immigration. Do they tell you or is there a way we can find out??? I pray that all goes well and that he gets approved right there and then on the same day. After that, we are thinking for him to come home by the last weekend of March so that he would have enough time to close any pending issues that he may have...

Good Luck to you too...

I think I just understood your question, lol.... My husband already completed his 10 year ban 8 years ago so he is well past his ban he has been in Honduras for over 18 years, and lucky that he has a clean record, no tattoos and has really done well for himself, so he is going to take all of the good and hope that they won't ask for nothing negative... but there might be a charge on there that is old but not sure if they would request for us to do a waiver... we are praying super hard that we don't have to...We have alot of faith that he won't need one.

eh - there was 2.5 months lag between USCIS approval and NVC open the casefile - don't feel so bad, ya?
