Filed tax jointly today and some questions

We went to H&R block today and did our tax return jointly. I had my SSN when I came here with J-1 so H&R block lady put down my SSN and ticked 'valid for work' even though my SSC says VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION. She asked me if I have DHS approval or EAD card and I told her I'm waiting for it. And also she put me as a permenant resident.(I made sure she didn't check USC box!) and told her my AOS case in pending she said it should be fine.

Is everything OK for these?

And one more question!

After the interview and after I get my GC, does my husband still need to make 125% over poverty guideline?(He was my only/primary sponsor for I-864) or can he switch to part time position?

we just did ours online filing jointly. I put him down as a permanent resident alien, expecting to send in an addendum that we elect he is treated as such due to our marriage in 2011. so far, so good.

valid for work is the right selection with the dhs authorization clause on your ssc

There are no boxes to indicate PR status, USC status, or the type of SSN you have on the US tax form 1040. Where are you getting this from?

We went to H&R Block office and the lady who works there did all the stuff with her computer. We went there last year as well but I wasn't working either and we weren't married back then so my husband just filed his and they still had all his info so we just updated him as USC and put my info there.

There is no indication on the form as to whether the person filing is a USC or not. Really. There is no indication as to what "type" of SSN you have either.

There is a little box right next to SSN to check if it's valid for work.

And there is a selection to pick if the person if USC, permenant resident or with work visa.

I am not sure what you are looking at. It is a common misconception that the tax form asks for your status, or that you need to "update" once you get naturalize. That is not true. In fact, illegal aliens must also file taxes.

Anyway, I am trying to tell you to relax.

That is not the exact form that I used. Actually I never used that form to file tax return. We've used turbo tax for like 4 years and then now we're going to H&R block. If you have been H&R block, you will see they are using some kind of software to fill out the forms. I guess that is where for them to put all the extra info.

It seems like I'm fine with tax return. Thanks.
