Just for grins, I thought I'd check the difference in taxes for this past year for me filing single versus married.

Our tax difference is.....more than 3000U$.

How much difference did/would it make for you?

I am wondering, are the fees paid for these applications considered a tax? Are they somehow deductible? Am I fantasizing about that?

The answer every year is always No.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Why is that? I can deduct any payments for my auto tags. Ggrrrr.. Still, I am wondering how much of a difference it is making for others. Something to look forward to next year.

This time, I claimed 0 and paid an extra 50$/check in and STILL have to pay over. Double grrrrr....

(This thread, as in every thread that I start, I did a search to see if I could find the topic already covered. I didn't find it in 5 minutes so I went ahead and started a new one. The real purpose of this was, of course, the topic in the title.)
