hi all,

me and my wife are currently living with her parents.

on the form i-864, the question about the household size should we count her family member too or since she is sponsoring me should we only count us 2 as household number.

and one more question is, my wife was a student last year with part time job so she only had total $5000 income from 2010 tax report, and now she is graduated from school and have a full time job that she made about $2000 monthly for more than 6 months now. are we gonna be ok with a employment letter and past 6 months paystub from her current job

or should we prepare to have a co sponsor that have enought income to sponsor both of us?

Your situation is very similar to ours. We were living with my father and we only put 2 for household size. Me + her. My wife also had low income the previous years but 2011 she was making more than enough. We sent six months of paystubs and an employment verification letter that stated how much she made and how many hours she worked. So far so good. Our interview is in a month. Make sure you fill out page 5 (part 7),even though is says optional, you have to fill it out. That was the only RFE we received was for sending a blank page. Good luck!

by looking at your time line, looks like u r having the interview in less than 3 months from the day u send in the package. i hope ours will be that fast too.

thanks for the efford. we are living with the parents now so we can save up enought for the new house. her parents have their own job so they r not taking care of each other, just the free rent for us that all..
