Anybody here traveled with their babies? please give me some tips

I am planning to take a 3 weeks vacation in the philippines with

my 1 year old baby. i am a little nervous bringing my child on a trip

but i want my family back home to see her.

Anybody here have any experience to share what things to do so

we will have a safe trip? or any advice or ideas that can prepare me on our trip?

Safe?? YES but that is an awfully long trip for a baby. Is the baby on a special formula or baby food? You would need to make sure you have enough for the duration of the trip and extra ( just in case of delays).

We're doing the same with a 6 month old in May. Try doing a search for "flying with infants". A lot of good sites with info came up.

my baby eat solid food so it is more easier and she drinks lots of juice and water.

i think i will just bring plenty of healthy food and snacks for her and prolly bring only her stuff.

like important things(diapper,few clothes and medicine just incase).

Anybody here tried bringing baby car seat on the plane or toddler seat?

or do the airline provide them? how about harnest?

My baby was only 2 months old when i brought him here from the Philippines. I had a safe easy flight.

Tips that i can share:.

1. ONLY buy bottled water inside the airport facilities if u are bottle feeding since water is not allowed unless bought inside the airport.

2.Make sure she has something to chew on when the plane is taking off to prevent ear ache..it worked for me and my baby.

3. You can bring a handy stroller with u just check the airline.

4. If the child has no ticket of his own make sure u have to be there early and look for vacant seats at the back of the plane so u and ur child can sleep better.If she don't have a ticket and bassinets is not provided u will have to have the child on ur lap the whole flight.

5.Last but not the least inform the airlines that u need assistance that way they will give u an assistance or an airline personnel to walk u through till boarding without getting in line. I did that and it was free.

I see u are due on May?? Make sure u have the doctor's permission to fly as u are only allowed to travel at 7 months.

i will not bring my infant baby when i go back to the phillippines for a vacation

but my daughter which is more older. by that time she'll be 1 year and 10 months old.

for sure the airline will provide whole milk or 2% or bottled water that she can drink if they

will not allow me to bring some..included for her meal..me and my husband decided to get her own seat.

bringing a handy stroller is a good idea.
