Hi, well we made it! I hope :). Living with my spouse for two years now and we need to file for the removal of her conditions or form I-751.

Couple questions: I know the sponsor has to fill our form I-865 for a change in address, I have and sent it to the correct location, it is a little late, but I am assuming they won't care as long as they know where I am now.

In reading the I-751 instructions, do I need to fill out the change of address for her to? On form AR-11?

Thanks

The USC can file one but is not required to file a change of address

The green card holder is required by law to notify USCIS of all address changes while they are a green card holder.

Does the green card holder need to file a change of address? Yes the green card holder is required to file a change of address by law.

Please see the USCIS website for details. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=2e5174ab3d2fa210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Considering you said you filed the change of address late - you may just want to file the ROC papers with the new address on them.

Thanks for the responses.

I was living at a different address (#1) and the plan was for her to come into the country and live with me at address (#2). She has never lived at #1 always at #2. I did not know #2 at the time I filled out the CR-1 paper work. So #2 is all she has ever lived at. I sent the I-865 change of address form in already for me. She has always had address #2 but in filling out the original forms, I suppose I put #1. So bottom line, I don't need to have her submit an AR11 because #2 is where she has always lived.?.

Unless anyone sees this as a major deal, and we need to get a lawyer involved (can't afford... ;) ) I'll just complete the paper work with the new address and turn it in. Just anxious about this. I don't want to screw anything up :).

thanks

I'm the greencard holder and I just filed the AR-11 online, and then when I filed my ROC papers, I included a copy of the print out receipt (because my reminder letter from USCIS came to my old address anway!) and provided a list of my addresses and when I moved in my 1-751 application.
