Yep, same here. August filer and still no NOA2. Had USCIS on the phone the other day and CSC is backed up 7+ months. I read somewhere that close to election time (now!) that immigration puts more importance to the N-400s. So that way people are made citizens and are eligable to vote. I have no idea if this has any validity or not. Just sharing what i've heard...as with a lot of things, take it with a grain of salt. Also, for those of us who's processing time spans over the Holidays (thanksgiving, hanukkah, christmas, new year...) we have to remember to take that into account. They get backed up over these times every year, maybe not for as long some years, but with that and the cut backs in staff. I'm not trying to make excuses here, just a little insight.

Stay strong people, we can do this!

I hear you, the removal of conditions wait time is >8 months currently, so by the time we actually get a card, we'll probably just apply for citizenship. I sincerely hope you guys get your NOA2 soon. I was very lucky when I applied in '09.

The processing times shown on the USCIS site were updated yesterday and they still say they are within in their 5 month goal. Doesn't seem very consistant to me when you look at time lines some are short and some are longer with no RFE's. Doesn't seem like they are very organized or taking cases in order of receipt.

I was informed today that my processing time for Spain in the California visa center is now up to over 6.5 months, with no ROE, NOTHING, no explanation as to why, just more time is needed and that's it, any others in this same boat...waiting for over 5 months and no notice of anything???

I waited 18 months for my bride be patient~

I saw that too. Although note - it's five months for USC (so it says anyway), but June 1 for permanent resident.

The five months must be an average, maybe that's why they randomly process recent ones super fast - to keep their averages down.

That does make sense to me too as to why they probably process the recent ones fast... way to keep their averages down..
