i posted earlier. my wife is on her 10 yr GC, married in 2007. i took a job outside the USA out of necessity. we gave up our apartment and lived with my mother temporaily. we filed the AR 11 and I865s/ few days later i headed to korea to my job. she stayed in US for 2 weeks then headed to philippines for 5 months to see her family. she returned to USA and she had no job anymore, so she left to go to Nevada to spend time with girlfriends, then to NY. she moved around a couple times in each place. she did not file any further AR 11s, and her address has always been our last one with my mother before my departure. and I cannot file a proper I865 from outside the USA.

when I get home ill file my new I865 and she will a new Ar11 when we get our new home.

Does anyone think we should simply wait an additional 5 years to file her citizenship? reason i say this is because the N400 asks for housing addresses and her work history etc for 5 years. I have a feeling the IO may feel that her living at a lot of different addresses would bve a problem. and of course we would list them on the N400, including the ones she never submitted fo an AR11, however I just have a very bad feeling about it. heR 10 YEAE CARD IS good until 2020. so if i apply for her n400 in 5 years we would NOT be required to show those addresses and erratic and suspicious work histories. any advice? I am very newvous and worried.

Your wife can live at 20 different addresses, work for 10 different employers or not work at all. As long as she satisfies the naturalization requirements (continuous residence and physical presence), she can file for N-400.

Has she been living at her last address for at least three months? You have to be in the same district/state for at least three months prior to sending in your application.
