Hi, I would greatly appreciate some guidance.

I am an American Citizen by birth and I'm currently in the United States where I've had continuous residence. My wife is Armenian and is currently residing in her home country.

I filed her I-130 petition and received the receipt. I also have a stepdaughter who is 17 years old my wife wants to bring with her to the US.

What do I do now? I've been doing a lot of reading and I'm a little confused on what forms to file and what forms are filed once she arrives in the US. When does the I-485 get filed? What do I do now that the I-130 has been submitted? Thank you in advance for any guidance.

You will not file a I-485. You are on the CR/IR-1 spousal visa path. You will follow a series of steps that will result in an interview at her consulate, and then when she enters the US, she will trigger her Permanent Resident Status and her GC will be mailed to her automatically. Right now it sounds like you are waiting for approval of the petition (step 1) which takes 5-6 months or more. There are some more steps after that. You need to file another I-130 for the step daughter. Look at the guides up top for more specifics about the steps. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
