We are just beginning the process for getting a K-1 Visa. We{ve applied for the I-129F, Now, looking ahead, when my fiancee goes to the interview, which documents does she need? Do they need to be notarized? And for "evidence of engagement", can that be just a photo of our engagement from skype? Is that sufficient? Thanks!

Moved from K-1 Process to Regional as it is a region specific question.

Your question should be better answered by people in the regional section as all embassys are different and require different things.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

Hi,

As skiptex said go to US embassy Caracas-Venezuela

There you will find everything your fiancee needs to bring to the interview. I prepared all my paperwork following just what is listed there. My interview was 4 years ago btw. Only doc needs to be certified is the copy of Birth certificate by the Ministry of Foreign Relations. Any document in a language different than English and Spanish needs to be translated to English.

I got my Birth certificate and divorce decree for previous marriage certified and translated because I needed them once I got here to get married and for the Adjustment of Status process.

Keep in mind that my K1 interview was years ago, and it's possible that somethings have changed. But overall, all the info is in that site.

Good luck!
