F*** Still waiting - Congrats!

Don't worry. You've done the right thing and started to prepare the documents needed for the interview. Unless you have a scam/sham relationship, Moscow is a relatively easy Embassy.

She WILL get the visa and she WILL be here. After you send the documents start preparing for her arrival and what you two will do with you new lives......

the marriage thing, all the other stuff (insurance, SSN, DL, etc) and then AOS documents come quickly after arrival, can hope.

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

You're right -

The main thing I'm worried about is the wait from NOA2 to visa in-hand. I think I've read on VJ that it's approximately an additional 2 - 3 months...

She already has a SSN (only has to be updated after marriage) - Marriage cannot really be planned, but we talk about it a lot - The medical insurance is covered once we're married - I've already found doctors here who speak Russian and can take Russian medical docs (no translation required) - I've figured out who we need to contact about her schooling (WES in NY) - and more!

Also, I checked today to see where we were at, and it looked like there were some petitions that were just approved a day or two ago within +/- 10 case numbers of ours.

I'm not sure why there were some that were approved that are just one or two after ours, but I am expecting something soon now....

Yes the 2-3 months between NOA2 and the interview is right on if not a little light. Why are you worried about it? All this will be water under the bridge when it happens and it's gonna happen.
