I am getting ready to send my AOS packet. I am filing out the I864

my husband was a student in 09 and 10 and only made under $10,000. In 2011 he made 16,000 but he is now employed at a rate of $21500.00 / year.

I believe we need a joint sponsor.

My question is can I fill out the I864A as a joint sponsor? I am going to continue to work in Canada as it is only a 10 min drive to my work and I have been there for 15 years.

Any help you can give - dont want to send this incorrectly and waste anymore time.! I have been married since Sept and really want to live my with my husband!

See if these State Dept FAQs help you with your I864 questions.

Good luck.
