I made mine at walgreens and of course they were accepted but it was total waste of money. Would have done it 100 times better myself at home that someone at Walgreens with $100 worth compact camera. Don't ask me why I went to Walgreens...

I've been wondering the same thing, since Walgreens literally just uses a point-n-shoot camera and prints on photo paper, assuming I can get a white background (poster board at Target) there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to do this on my own.

Thoughts?

Walgreens has a template (USCIS requirement) for passport photos. When they process it, they will zoom in or out your photo to match with the template, then crop it and print it. I saw an employee doing that last time at our Walgreens.

The program I mentioned earlier does this for you. It costs $10 for a license - unlimited photos.

Oh, I mentioned this in a different thread. The program is called Passport Photo Studio. I downloaded it and, like I said, you pay $10 for a license and use your camera, and there is a template to get the right size/proportion, print, and voila!
