Petition in Route to CDJ

Good morning! I called NVC last night and my packet was sent to CDJ on the 9th. I now have my fiancee's case number, Invoice number and beneficiary ID. My question is this: what should be my next step? Of course we haven't received packet 3 yet. But should we log onto mexico.usvisa-info.com and set up an interview and biometrics appointment? Or should we just wait for packet 3? Additionally what exactly is an ASC appointment and can it be done in Monterrey?

You can go ahead and fill out the DS-260, pay and make your appointments. She will just need to bring the invitation letter('packet 3') to CDJ for her medical and interview so set the appointments leaving enough time to receive the letter in the mail. It can take 4-6 weeks sometimes. You can fill out the other forms and gather what you need now too. http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html

I believe you can have the ASC appointment in another city, but I had read it can take longer for them to get the results in Juarez so most just opt to have them done there while in Juarez. ASC appointment one day, medical the next, then interview the day after the medical.

Thanks so much for the info! I don't know why I put "fiancee." I meant to put fiance. So will you be given the opportunity to schedule the ASC the same time you schedule the interview?
