Any recent interview experience this January 2012? How did it go? Is the infamous lady at "window 5" still there?

Hello Thailand VJers!

I would just like to hear how your recent interview experience was like? Would appreciate any heads up! Cheers!

The interview of others will have little to do with what may happen in your case. The interview should be easy with no surprises. The case is really decided based on the documents submitted.

Window 5 is commonly used for immigrant type visas. It can be occupied by a number of different officers. These people are well trained & motivated to grant the visa not to find a way to deny it. The stories of the evil lady are probably begun by misinformed people that didnt understand what was going on.

No reason to think your experiance will be anything but positive. It will be over in a very short time.

I have to second Ning's view. Based on my wife's account of her K-1 visa interview, it seems as though the decision had been made prior to the interview. Although my wife brought two Trader Joe's bags full of evidence, none of it was inspected. Rather she submitted the required forms, answered about five questions, and was approved.
