How long do CO's work at embassy.

Im just curious as to how long CO's are contracted at one embassy do they all change yearly or can they be in place for long time? Im just nervous as i was refused 3 times last year by the same one for F visa, now that our interview shouldnt be too far away im just getting nervous.

I doubt a new CO will make a drastic difference in your case. If you were refused 3 times, then there is obviously a very strong reason for that and I am pretty sure the CO has written all that down to your case file.

No im applying for K1. And I believe a CO may make difference the CO, told me on first interview yes you will have visa in a week. Then my passport came back with 214b denial letter with one of the boxes out 3 boxes with reasons ticked. They following 2 times i went in the other 2 boxes were ticked, so each time a different reason. I was going back to go to college there i also had my fiance there but they didnt know that at least i dont think they did. But it was just odd to me. My ties are documented very strongly here, but maybe it was the fact i had spent alot of time in states on other visa that made it look otherwise. I have explained all my story before in other posts.

We obviously have since decided we are now ready to get married and have moved forward with our K1. Its just a nail biting journey as we all do know and i dont want anything to come between me and my fiance..

F visa rejection was for different reason, where the CO was saying you did not have enough ties at home. For K visa that would not matter how many ties you have at home.

K visa is only rejected when the CO is not convinced the relation is real and not only for immigration purpose. I don’t know your complete story but you should be ok for the K visa.
