Most libertarians show up with insurance.

Your insurance doesn't cover emergency rescue services. It covers the ambulance trip to the hospital, but your tax money pays to have you ripped out of your crushed vehicle.

Neither does tax money in the area where I live. You will be billed for the rescue.

That's because you live in the backwoods like a hermit. But when you do crank over your buggy and drive into civilization, if one of those rich liberals in their beamer runs over your buggy, it will be tax money scraping your remains off the street.

If you vote for it to do so. Some places (as evidenced by the other posters on here) don't have to pay for stuff they don't want.

No, that is Santa Rosa, CA,

Santa Rosa is the county seat of Sonoma County, California, United States. The 2010 census reported a population of 167,815. Santa Rosa is the largest city in California's Wine Country and fifth largest city in the San Francisco Bay Area, after San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, and Fremont and 26th largest city in California.

If it happens locally, the volunteers pull me out.

What's that say in the lower left corner? Also, where's 2011?

And... why have there not been more jobs created than lost. I thought Obama was going to fix it?

  • Since the end of 2009, business investment has grown by a rate of 18 percent, and exports have increased by 32 percent -- for a total of $2 trillion.
That's good news for American manufacturing, which has added 334,000 jobs in the past two years.
Last night, in the State of the Union, President Obama said that his Blueprint for an America that lasts begins with manufacturing. He talked about the revival of the American auto industry and said that what is happening in Detroit can happen in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or Raleigh.
To achieve that vision, the President focused on three key themes.

In 2011, American businesses created the most jobs in any year since 2005. In fact, the private sector has added nearly 3.2 million jobs in the last 22 months.
These numbers are proof that we are steadily climbing out of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. But we can’t stop now. We must continue to take steps to strengthen and grow our economy.
In his State of the Union address last night, President Obama outlined a Blueprint for an American economy built to last. He laid out a plan to create jobs in the manufacturing and clean energy industries that relies on the skills of American workers. And he called for a return to American values: hard work, responsibility, and the same rules for everyone, from Wall Street to Main Street.
