About a week until my 5 months if I use the NOA1 date as opposed to received date. Hopefully that's the magic number, give or take a few days.

I must say the wait is 10x less stressful after NOA2. Paul, we are lucky and should get good interview dates. From what i hear, wait 2 weeks after petition leaves NVC, and you should then be able to schedule interview using PIN number... see link... (as soon as 2 weeks later, 2-4- weeks). Otherwise, your fiancee will receive paperwork 4 weeks after leaving NVC. There is no return packet required, and they don't even send out a packet as all info is on website. PS... this same info is available in native language as well.

WE JUST GOT OUR NOA2!!!

They sent the email at 8:45 pm local time!! I was so excited I was jumping around the room, hahah!!

Just for the record, our petition was at CALIFORNIA, our NOA1 date was January 20, so we were ONE WEEK away from the 5 month mark. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

So, CSC people, it's good news! All your NOA2's are coming!!!

Independence day will be coming up soon and they'll all be off and on vacation for that and I just can't stand to think that we have to wait for them to get back from vacation to start cranking out NOA2s. I rrrreeeaaallllyyyy hope I get it before July 4th!

Oh me too! I do not want to have to wait through another holiday. Weekends are hard enough as it is and we still have 2 weeks to go until the 5 month mark! :(

July 4th is on a Wednesday this year, so we shouldn't get much of a delay from that. Unless lots of people choose to take a vacation that week, we should only be slowed down for a day/.

I would expect a lot of 5 day weekends, and some full weeks off.... But also expecting Jan petitions to go into full gear very soon!!! So hopefully don't worry about holiday, and celebrate it!!

i ain't too worried.. its going to happen.. its like big surprise any day now :)

Awesome man. Yes. My hope is still alive that with some speed and some luck, she could have interview late July. It would be great if she could get here by August.

You are definitely right about that. And January will go into full gear. There is no way that they'll sit on these petitions much longer. We're about half way through with 2 weeks in June to go. Should be good news for many of us soon.

haha yes. It's an addiction. Just wish I could get out of this week with an NOA2. Especially since it looks like petitions are going out in groups to NVC. Would be great to ride the next batch out, and then I wouldn't have lost much time with this extra waiting. I'm still not expecting to hear something until next week, however.
