Congrats kate&javi! I'm afraid that if I don't hear anything from VSC by next Wednesday, I'm calling in the big guns. I'm sick n tired of waiting and I'm getting angry that feb ppl are being processed before us! I've tried to be patient and tried to just be quiet and keep waiting and give them time but I am sick n tired of waiting. June 19 will be 5 months for me and I've waited patiently long enough. This system desperately needs to be revamped and improved. I get more and more depressed as each day goes by and hoping against hope (in vain!) that I get a text around midnight saying we were approved, just to go to bed empty handed and even more sad. I feel like its never gonna get here! :(

Our K-1 Visa Journey

1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

Same here buddy! It's just so hard to have no date to look forward to. I was gonna plan to visit her in the US for a few months but I'm not sure I could afford spending a ticket there and back and another ticket whenever I get my visa. Besides, it's damn near impossible to plan anything before we get our interview date set up.

Try to hang in there! It's horrible. I know. But there's not much we can do. Anything we try right now could potentially slow us down more...They'll get to most of us by end of June. I'm certain of that. If you look at the petitions approved here. (Excluding RFEs as well as multiple or inactive timelines) we are just about half way through January. And it's half way through June. They really can't have many of our petitions idling around beyond this month. They've already taken an extra month to do them.

About a week until my 5 months if I use the NOA1 date as opposed to received date. Hopefully that's the magic number, give or take a few days.

Thanks for all the congrats. Seriously I was in shock last night, and I'm up early today because I simply could not sleep. It just seems unreal to me! Maybe it's because I seriously thought we were going to get an RFE for a certified copy of my BC (I only sent in a copy from my home copier and only the front side, then after I read threads here, people were saying that you had to send in a certified copy so I was worried).

But seriously... To those who are waiting still, I know it's frustating, but the NOA2 is coming. I was getting really annoyed and frustrated earlier this week, I had the form ready to email to my congressman's aid sitting on my desktop for June 20, I thought it would never ever come, and it popped up in my email when I was least expecting it. I'm here crossing my fingers for you all.

It's the same for me. I would love an approval by the end of June. I just hope it balances itself out and we don't spend a month at the NVC stage.
