Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I can't breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just finished working (I work online from home) and have been checking the USCIS site every hour or so....nothing in my email. So I decided to check the site once more even though my inbox is empty and sure enough--the updated date had CHANGED! It's 10 PM where I live...so I am guessing it is like 9 PM in CA...so strange! BUT Anyway after all of this the last few days, we ARE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! I am shaking so much I can barely type!!!! YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! There is hope for CSC! We are only slightly outside of the 5 month range...literally like a few days. Wow. And I cancelled that congressional stuff this morning..I really had a feeling on Friday when I faxed them that something would happen today before any action was taken and sure enough..........WOW. this is amazing. Now to figure out what's next...we have a lot of work to do!

Well, I am soooooooo happy and hope that the rest of you get the same great news really soon!!! Hang in there! It's so worth the wait and the stress--I think it makes it that much sweeter!!!!!!! Well, here we go on the ride of our lives......! I can't believe it!!!

Yes. I would love to know how exactly they're appropriating these petitions to adjudicators or how the adjudicators are working through them. It's relatively anomalous that the entire middle 3rd of the month has had such little activity...

Maybe things will change this week! Hoping for it.

Me too! And your NOA1 was one day after mine! My NOA1 was Jan. 9th and yours was Jan. 10th. So apparently they finally touched our box today!!! Congrats to both of us!!!!!!!!!

Actually it is jan 6 when they got it.

@photomile: call USCIS National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283 or via TTY at 1-800-767-1833 (for hearing impaired). I choose options 1,1,1... until it ask for case number (use whole numbers including with letters) just have to wait until they say "to report problem with your case press" I can not remember what key it was. Tell them that your application is outside of normal processing time. I belive they will send a note or something and you might get it approved in a week or less. (I had to call after 5+ month)

ahh. indeed Sabi. indeed. truly a roulette...Well here's to hoping many of us come up with the next couple of spins. At least there have not been too many RFEs for VSC January filers registered here.

Thanks for the heads up. We have done this, and we know there's a service reuqest in. It just sucks waiting. Seriously I wouldn't wish this on anyone

Yes..I think I'll definitely call next Monday. And then I'll try to figure out the best course of action. I really hope I won't be waiting into the 170-180 day range. God that would be awful...Really just hoping this week or early next week can be the end of this...
