That's fantastic news photomile! Yes. I think as long as you are outside of normal processing time, it's not as big of an issue. Hopefully this is your week! And you did wait until the 5 month mark. Shouldn't be a problem I would think. Now if someone is 1-2 weeks away from the 5 month point. Then I would suggest some caution.

Interesting...I just called and canceled my 3 requests...nothing had been started yet. The one lady got mad at me and told me that it doesn't slow things down...I was like well, according to my information it can, so I am going to stop it for now and use it in a month or so if I still haven't heard anything!

So yes, I hope this is good news for you, photomile! We are right behind with a Jan. 9th NOA1 but we are CSC....

I think there's an element of truth to both sides. As Paul said, if you haven't hit your 5 month mark then yeah it could slow you down, but if you have hit it, even though you technically still have 30 days to wait, all bets are off because you're this close to the mark.

Yes.....I agree. I figured since it was still so close to the 5 month mark, I may as well give it another couple of weeks since many files around mine have been touched really recently...there's not a whole block of numbers lost in a box somewhere anyway...so I guess I am more nervous about adding time by pissing them off...I don't know anymore! Just really hoping to see some movement this week! My hunny's birthday is on Wednesday, so it would be AMAZING if we got our NOA2 the same day!!!

I know that at least some do. Mine came after midnight.

I received the NOA1 email and SMS notice at 10:54PM Pacific on a Thursday.

I received the NOA1 email and SMS notice at 10:54PM Pacific on a Thursday.

I received my NOA1 text near midnight, but received my NOA2 email around 9 a.m. I think the notifications are sent the day after the file approved or looked at, at least that's how it was in my situation.
