You know what our problem is? We think into this whole process too much! I just realized that this weekend... We are trying to figure out sth we will never be able to understand. We would stay much healthier without over thinking and over analyzing ... We set our goals and when USCIS doesn't meet it, we get upset and frustrated. The truth is, we are still within the processing time (assuming the 6 months one) so we should try and patiently wait for the approval as it will come :)at least I am trying to do so from today :) otherwise I'll go crazy and so will all of you!

Sabi... this is exactly what my fiance is telling me... he knows I am obsessing about the NOA2..and he knows I get frustrated and disappointed every day it doesn't come. So I've decided I'm not doing anything except trying to patiently wait our turn, and give support to others in the same boat. :)

Happy Monday everyone!! :D It's a new day, and a new week of hope for us all!! :)

I hope so! It's been so weird to see nothing, though according to the processing times on this site, they've worked on something in the Jan. 20-24 range.

Well I've got some good news at least.

Our congressman called today before we could call to stop it. Our case is WITH an officer. The congressman spoke to the person who actually has our file so this is good news! And they've promised to chase up the person in a week.

They said that no, congressional inquiries don't slow things down provided you actually are outside normal processing times. The USCIS does say to allow up to 30 days after the posted times, however the congressman considers 'outside processing times' to be any point after the centres average timeframe. (Whether it's true or not is another matter but hey, anything's good at this point)

But the tunnel's so pretty....

Hooray! I'm hoping you're breathing a bit easier!

We are thankfully. It's comforting to know it's actually on someone desk. At least if it takes another two weeks, we know someone sees it and it's not down the back of the filing rack or something

That's fantastic news photomile! Yes. I think as long as you are outside of normal processing time, it's not as big of an issue. Hopefully this is your week! And you did wait until the 5 month mark. Shouldn't be a problem I would think. Now if someone is 1-2 weeks away from the 5 month point. Then I would suggest some caution.

Interesting...I just called and canceled my 3 requests...nothing had been started yet. The one lady got mad at me and told me that it doesn't slow things down...I was like well, according to my information it can, so I am going to stop it for now and use it in a month or so if I still haven't heard anything!

So yes, I hope this is good news for you, photomile! We are right behind with a Jan. 9th NOA1 but we are CSC....
