That actually makes sense!

Now that I think we will wait till we pass 6 months mark with all the service requests... I hope we won't need to do that though...

Yes. I really hope the next 2 weeks address the middle of the month. If you look at the petitions it seems like adjudications for January have concentrated at the beginning and the end. The middle third of the month has been neglected. I'm really hoping this week will be it for me. It would be right in processing time and about 1 week outside of my VJ timeline estimate.

Actually I got an RFE on my email on Friday. I was expecting to be in the US for good by early September but I do not see that happening anymore :( :____(

I still haven't gotten the RFE on the mail so I'm not sure of what they want.

I doubt I'll get lucky. My luck has run dry these past few months. Oh well, hopefully everyone else will get things soon. I just wish we had known this first.

Yes. There is no way you could have known. And what you did would make sense in a logical system. You were doing the best you could. This whole system is illogical and crazy. God help us all. It's all I can really say at this point. Hopefully, things will be better this week for everyone.

Depends on how fast the turn around is at your embassy and how long it takes for them to process your RFE. August is not an impossibility. But yess. probably good for you to accept September as the most likely time.

Let's just hope next week will be better for us...

i just wish to know what is happening with our petition, is it still in a box or lost somewhere?? It is the "not knowing" that is the most difficult of all. Also i heard that the NCV is dragging their feet too...up to a month before getting a case number !! And if it was not enough, i'm with the slowest consulate ever (Montreal), wich can take up to 4 months before getting an interview !!! At this pace I don't think there will be a wedding this year and it makes me really really sad...

I'm in the exact same boat as you katchoo... January filer.. VSC and Montreal Consulate. But I'm trying to stay positive. Tomorrow is a new day, the start of a new week :) ... and they can't drag their feet forever... they will need to push through a lot of approvals before everyone starts vacationing in the summer or they are going to find themselves seriously back logged.

I called the NVC friday to inquire. They said they typically have the case after 2 weeks of approval. I saw some other bad posts about this too, but anyway, people always post the bad news so hopefully 2 weeks is the norm.

skype itself offer pretty good deals for phoning abroad, which means u can phone a landline or a mobile if you put some credit on it. I used to use it 5 years ago when my mum didn't have a pc and it worked pretty well.

Yes! I use and love Skype--for calling the US......for calling Honduras, it is pretty outrageous :( But yea, I have had a subscription for unlimited US calls for a few years now and it is perfect.

Hello all!

so i was playing around with my EAC number on the USCIS website, and there is a whole group of i129F's around the same number (mine). I decided to go back about a hundred forms, and there are a lot of work permits and protection forms. I didn't find another i129F group.

see what you find.

Good luck! Yes. Hopefully you'll get to it in time and stop it from creating a delay. It's unfortunate this system works like this. But at least you still have time to fix it.

Yes. I found the exact same thing. No activity on any of them yet..Definitely will be monitoring the group around me this week.

That's good to hear. If I can get NOA2 this week or next, I might have a chance of not losing this entire summer. Hopefully this will be a good week for everyone. I saw you had your about a week after the estimate on VJ timeline hopefully I'll get a similar result.

Well that's certainly interesting.......guess I will try the same for CSC. I have been looking around my number but only with 10 or 20 and hadn't gone as far as 100. I know that the numbers right around mine are mainly I129Fs with a few I130s mixed in.

In other news, I just left messages with the 3 congresspeople's offices telling them to disregard my constituent request for service...and will call them all back in the morning with the hope of cancelling their actions on my case...I sent the faxes late on Friday afternoon, so I can't imagine that they have done anything yet.......and here's to crossing fingers, toes, ears, tongue and everything else that we will see an NOA2 tomorrowwww!!!!!!!! I need some good news, as do we all!
