I've found three approvals from my "16" list, I haven't checked the "15" list. Sabi has checked farther than I have since I only really wanted December!

That being said, the fact that on the first day back from a holiday, we're seeing approvals, it's encouraging!

Yikes that is quite a few RFEs. Hopefully, most of us won't be receiving a similar notification. Unless they choose to selectively lose our documents. I would imagine your average VJ member is more aware of how to properly assemble the petition.

Great, at 50 a day I should be a week away, at 5 a day, should only be about another 10 weeks!!! We need some volume here.

Indeed....They need to get thing moving. It's getting crazy. There is absolutely no reason for this process to exceed 5 months. Not when an approval can take less than 15 minutes for an adjudicator. It's really unfortunate. Things were great about 2 months. Now they decided to go comatose on us...I think the most frustrating thing about all of this is the lack of consistency.

When I went through the original 10k, almost half of the petitions were RFE's!

I wouldn't mind making a bet that this is actually true. Given the number of RFE's, it wouldn't surprise me that if more people read the instructions that it would cut about a month or so off of the processing time. Remember, these used to have around a 1 week turn around, before 90 days was the defaqto standard

Yes. definitely. I'm very curious regarding the processing times for this class of Visa in other Western countries. Is it the US that just drags its feet or is it just a common way to handle this type of immigration? I would imagine that with more technology, streamlining, and efficiency we would have seen improved processing. Instead it has actually deteriorated. Strange Indeed. You don't see this kind of thing anywhere else. Businesses, both public and private, medicine, things are accelerating. Faster. More efficient. Then we have the K1 and I-130...regressing. It's probably one of the strangest things I've ever encountered. It's pretty unfortunate when a few petitions obviously linger in some abyss too (I know there are a few Decembers that have been left in the dust).

Hopefully, we won't have to continue with the disappoint for much longer...Things need to move..

No I don't need one. In Ireland you can have medical done anytime you want... It's valid for a year so I'll be fine. Just want to be ready and have the interview as soon as I get my NOA2 and NVC case number :)
