but i know the NOA2 will be happening soon :)

My timeline has been pretty stable in its range from late May to very early June for NOA2, so I'm hoping I get lucky and these stats are accurate. I'm still optimisitic, and I think next week is really the first week where NOA2 really could be possible. This week has been slow..so I'm thinking the next 2 weeks should pick up considerably.

1/13/12 - I-129F Petition Submitted to Dallas Lockbox

1/18/12 - Received at Vermont Service Center

1/20/12 - NOA1

1/24/12 - Touched

2/09/12 - Touched

8/02/12 - NOA2 (197 Days After Received at VSC)

8/14/12 - Received at NVC (Assigned Case Number)

8/16/12 - Departed from NVC

8/20/12 - Arrived in US Embassy Kiev

8/28/12 - Information Received from Embassy via mail

9/12/12 - Interview (Approved)

9/19/12 - Visa Received via Elin Ltd. (FedEx)

Oookkkkaaayyyy ssssooo I have another silly question. My mom is going to be a co sponsor for me. I'm doing her I-134 and it asks about the people who are dependent on her. My dad has a job and does his own work, but do I have to list him as one of her dependents? Thanks for your help!

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

9/17/12: Received Visa in the mail

You are sort of right... I decided to stay away from VJ last night and got busy with other stuff and I felt much better... I think the main problem we have is thinking too much into it. Usually when you wait for something it feels like forever but try and forget about the process and the time starts flying. And then one day we will get great news and that will be a nice surprise :)

I have a feeling you're next but shhhhhhhhh :)

Actually I've noticed that the USCIS site is taking longer to update this week. Normally most of the stuff done yesterday would be on the USCIS site by about 5am the next morning. UK time that is. Presumably this is when their batch jobs complete. But lately it's been slow. Really slow. But thanks for the encouragement!

I've taken friday off work to start getting things in order here. I'd rather have a positive outlook on things so I'm choosing to busy myself with it
