Just checking in this evening guys and girls. Texas22 - I really don't know what to say. Both me and Lorie are thinking of you and sending our wishes and prayers to you. I know it may not count for much but it's something. We are in sheer disbelief about what is going on. We truly are. I honestly hope you have an answer soon, no matter what the outcome of the visa process. At least you will be able to get on with your life. You're in our thoughts probably a little more than you might realize.

To everyone else, congratulations! Things are moving a lon for all of you. It's hard to believe that We were even going through this process now, although not having an SSN has been giving me some serious issues here in Texas. At least we found a new car.

Good luck Sara! PoE was so easy for us. I did a review but I can't remember if I actually posted it. dj - Get your visa and get your butt on a plane! - Sabi. good luck...

Everyone... good luck to you all!

Thank you Mark and Lorie, it does mean a lot that y'all are thinking about us. (L)

I have been reading everybody's updates and I am very happy for everyone moving onto the next phase of their lives. I do have to admit it is difficult still being stuck in this situation. I just want to be where all you guys are. :(

There are a few things left to do that I need to be here in Canada for, (family court with my ex) so perhaps this is a blessing in disguise.. at least that is what I am trying to tell myself. I have resigned myself to the fact that it will likely be next year now before we can make the move. :(

Rick phoned USCIS on Thursday (Sept 20). They are out of their processing time so they did issue us a service request. That means they get another 15 days to give us a response..

Will keep everyone posted. I haven't forgotten about any of you. I just really have no good news yet. But when I do, you will all know it, because it will be the day the heavens open up and shine down on us!! :)
