Hi guys!

My eye is finally healed. It took forever because I have really dry eyes :|

I can't believe that you didn't get the NOA2 yet, Texas. I've been thinking about you alot and I really hope that you get approved soon.

I am flying to Newark tomorrow via London and I am really really nervous, sad and excited at the same time. I have to leave our two family dogs behind which is breaking my heart but I can't wait to finally end almost 7 years of long distance relationship! :luv:

Good luck to everyone waiting for the NOA2 (hopefully not that many people) or the interview! All the wait will be worth it in the end :)

Also, I have written a review of my interview if anyone is interested.

Well I was expecting to come in here looking at approval for Texas. What on EARTH is going on!? My heart genuinely goes out to you both and I really really hope it happens for you soon.

I'm glad to see some progress for others though! Texas is lovely right now and I'm fairly certain I'm just going to get fatter and fatter while I'm here. I have my bank account set up, and I'm just waiting for the days to go past now to get my social security number. But it's great finally being here despite the fact that It doesn't feel real yet.

And longwaiting, congratulations! I hope the rest of your journey goes smoothly.

Congrats

Thanks! I've been staying out of this thread a bit because it was driving me crazy not to have my date, but I'll be more active now. I hope to get my fiance here by Halloween at the latest, though I'd definitely prefer mid-October. I am going to send him a new letter of intent since my last one was dated in July.

Congrats again Knope2012!!!

I on the other hand managed to get through to the embassy and they couldn't tell me if they got my reply as they have no access to those kind of information and that they are extremely busy and cannot tell me when will I get my interview... when you think you have waited long enough, there is another set back... Anyway I feel in no position to complain here as Kim is still waiting and I feel much worse for her right now... all this sucks big time, I am really happy New Year is coming in just a little over 3 months... maybe 2013 will be happier for some of us...

Okay, I've been lazy and reading everybody's posts as they come through on my email. Glad to see POEs for January filers, visa approvals and interviews scheduled.

Hope to see DJRicky's approval today from his interview.

My fiance has been experiencing a few obstacles trying to get his interview. He had to renew his passport and get his residency transferred to the new passport. That whole process can be extremely frustrating and time consuming, but thanks to his father he has done all that in 2 weeks (amazingly!). Now that's done, he can get his police report and do his medical hopefully in the next couple of days. Once he has his police report he will have to get everything translated (grrr). Only then can we schedule the interview. Also, I hope by then there won't be anymore protests at the US Embassy in Kuwait.

Well that's my update so far. :)

We are not complaining Sabi, just giving updates to our fellow filers. That's how I see it :) The whole thing sucks and the position my fiance is in, the burden is on us right now and not the Embassy.

Like you said, I feel worse for Tex and I want to know ####### is going on with her adjudicator and USCIS! For the love of all things beautiful, USCIS needs to approve her petition NOW!

Thank you! I hope so too. We're prepping all we can, even skype records and e-mail records, which are generally not necessary for London.

Aww I completely understand. I feel like I had setback after setback, and I'm exhausted at this point. Yesterday when I called, I was at the point of giving up, and then there was my interview date. It will happen very soon, promise.

I'm so sorry for all the obstacles. I had a couple myself and they're very frustrating. I hope everything else goes quickly for you and that Kuwait is a fast embassy. I can't imagine trying to do all of that with the passport and then get translations!

Thanks Knope, we are getting through it. It is definitely frustrating, but we have been lucky so far considering the way things work there. I hope our luck will hold out haha :D
