Texas, I am thinking of you. You are not forgotten. Ray got packet 3 on September 5th, he sent it back overnight that same day. We got packet 4 today! That is a 5 day turn around! WOW wish the US end of things was that on the ball. His interview is September 25th! He will be here in about a month!!!!

I am wondering: It took VSC 5 days to update your status from RFE to RFE REsponse review. It should be updated the same day they received it!!!!!!!!. Anyway, If I were you, I wouldn't wait until Sept. 18. Try to send them a letter with a copy of your receipt number explaining your situation and how fast you replied to their REF in a timely manner.

Congrats Mel and Ray....nearly there!!!....We will all have to join a new thread for AOS Jan K1 filers when we move, i had a look at the paper work for that and there is equally as much as b4, yuck!

Texas....what can i say my friend, except it will happen! .....hope you holding up, miss you here!

I am wondering: It took VSC 5 days to update your status from RFE to RFE REsponse review. It should be updated the same day they received it!!!!!!!!. Anyway, If I were you, I wouldn't wait until Sept. 18. Try to send them a letter with a copy of your receipt number explaining your situation and how fast you replied to their REF in a timely manner.

I contacted the congressman's office again yesterday and they phoned Vermont. Here is the response I received:

I did talk today to our Congressional Liaison in Vermont and she promised to shoot the officer, handling your application, an email to find out about the status of it.

I reads so funny.... I thought at first... "shoot the officer"? Okay... as long as you hand our file to someone else first.. :rofl:

I skimmed thru the thread catching up. I can't believe you are STILL waiting Tex! That is infuriating! You've handled it better than I could! You are still in my thoughts and prayers! It's totally Texas Tuesday for you! :) they should super expedite your case since youve been delayed sssoooo looonnnnggggg!!!!

He had his interview on Monday and was approved by London Embassy. He'll book tix when we have visa in hand and he'll be here next month!

1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed
