We got our interview date on Friday, I'm waiting to update my timeline though because it conflicts with an appt and if we can't get the other appt moved, we ill have to move the embassy appt :( its currently sched'd for 10/3 and we will plan on him entering the US around the 1st of November!!!!! :)

Tex, I can't believe you and other jan filers are STILL waiting for NOA2! I check in every now and then to see what's going on. I thought I would see a ton of congrats for you! Tomorrow is labor day so hopefully by the end of this week you guys will hear something!

Sabi, I'm sorry to hear about your knee! Hope you get well soon!

Kitty, you be careful with hurricane Isaac in Louisiana! Those things can be scary! Hope all is well with you and yours!

1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

9/17/12: Received Visa in the mail

To all January Filers:

For those who got the approval: CONGRATULATIONs!!!!

For those who are still waiting: Hang in there, it will come in the right time....as I called it JC time

We filed jan 30, got RFE june13, they recieved the reply june22, waited 60 days the called them(aug 22) told us wait 15 days then we recieved email saying within 90 days...BUT my fiance got the text saying new update on our application while im on my way to the airport to see him for the weekend(aug 31)......my first reaction OH NO not another RFE...I was wrong its our APPROVAL!!!! That was so sweet, getting it on the day im gonna see him after 6 months!!!!HURRAY.... BEST WEEKEND EVER...

And now the next step begin....

K1 Visa.

Interview Date : 2013-03-04

Visa Received : 2013-03-11

July 26.2013 (Day 58 ) EAD/AP approved Card in Production (july 26)

August 3.2013(Day 65 ) EAD/AP card recieved ( aug 3)

We have to change the interview date :( my fiancé called the London embassy help line and was advised to send them an email. He sent the email today requesting a new appt date. Hopefully it will not be changed to a November date. I'm hoping it can be changed to a sept date or still be in October around the 3rd. We will see. I hope they email him back by the end of this week so we will know.

Just checking in guys. First working day after the Labor day weekend, so Texas I really hope there's an answer for you today.

My boxes just got picked up by UPS and I'm now sat tidying a few things up.

Also, I had to do the single most horrible thing ever last night... I.... don't know how to say this but... I had to change my computer language to..... American English..... *shudder*.... and the date settings....

Flight tomorrow

A Shout out to those with interviews, medicals, etc in immediate future, Congrats to anyone who got NOA2 or approved and a COME ON for those Jan filers who are so patiently waiting their NOA2, enough already VSC...JUST DO IT!!!(Already) And of course safe flying to those heading to pastures new and their new happy lives!!
