Thank you Kate. I'm sure your fiance's interview will be fine.. I know how hard it is not to think about it... like... a lot! (sigh).

I had a long talk with my Mom today. She seems to think that there is another reason for the delay, my unfinished business here.. and that everything that is delaying the process will all fall together in a very short span of time. I hope that can be tomorrow.... lol..

I feel despair at this point... honestly... it just seems like it's never going to happen. :(

I've been quiet lately...reading along but also trying not to think about that same date!!! It's probably pretty rare to have 2 K1 interviews on the same day here, so it will be interesting to see who goes first and all! I agree that I can't stop thinking about it late at night........I have gone through the paperwork so frequently that I can't stand it anymore. Haha. I have a couple of tiny things left to do in it but closer to the date (pay stubs, mainly). We still have yet to find his vaccination record which is a problem. :( I might buy our plane tickets tonight.....yikes! I have "sold" most of the stuff in my apartment so that is huge...but I am still freaking out about it all! Haha. The interview is this huge black THING on the horizon...haunting my every thought hahaha. I am really positive but it is so stressful since they will decide the path of our lives at least for the next few years!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!! My mom is so incredibly over excited for me to move home after almost 3 years that I can barely stand talking to her hahaha.

And Kim, this is terrible. Insane. But your mom is probably right.....do what you need to do to "balance the energy" so that things can move forward. I thought that we would be moving this month...but we have to have like the slowest embassy ever.....so I think it is for that same reason--to finish things here before leaving....but I do feel like Oct. 10th will never come either! haha. I keep checking in here hoping to see TONS of Congrats to you!!! It will be wild and surreal when it actually happens, I am sure!!!!!!

True! Well, we don't live together and both work but we do see each other at least once or twice a week ;) We couldn't do long-distance very well...since we never have other than for a few weeks here and there! So then we will fly out and start a new life together around Oct. 23/24th....just under 2 months! Wild! I just want to have that visa in our hands so I don't have to wonder about the interview anymore! Ahh!

Thanks Beth and Sara. It will be totally surreal when it happens, I probably won't believe it's true for a week!

The long distance is hard. I'm thankful for skype, yet at the same time, I just wish I could reach into the computer and touch him... and it is super hard not knowing when I'll be able to do that again. We've always had trips planned every 3 months or so, so something to look forward to... a date... we would count down the days... but now, we don't have that, all we have is limbo.. and it sucks.. :(

I am so ready to go... even the kids are ready to go at this point.. and not being able to let them know when is frustrating for all of us... It is pretty difficult to plan for anything right now, just one day at a time.

Rick in his quiet strong way is keeping strong for both of us... but I know it's starting to weigh on him too.. ahhhh c'mon Vermont Disservice Center, show us some love already!! ...

im sorry to tell you but either you call them or wait on the letter from them that they receive your petition and shipped it off to the consulate. It would be a good idea to call if you wish to provide them with updated email address or phone # for the consulate to contact the alien fiancee
