Hey Guys just an update:

The congressman's office called me this morning. She told me that she called Vermont again today and they told her that our file has now been assigned to an adjudicator.. :thumbs:

She also asked them why some people that received RFE's after ours were already adjudicated and we are still waiting. They said that doesn't happen, and if it does, it's very rare... (yeah, okay :whistle: ) I have about 15 instances of it happening around our case alone..

So that gives me a little hope that maybe NOA2 will come this week. Fingers, toes and all other appendages crossed! :P

Wednesday or Thursday Texas!! I feel it.

Congrats L+T....visted boston once when i was there last summer i like it there. Tell her to enjoy the summer cause i doubt its gonna be a mild winter like the last one

Yes...I am scared to see what winter will bring. The summer has been brutal. And last winter was so crazy-mild...it was ridiculous! So of course when my fiance gets there and experiences cold for the first time ever, it will be record-breaking hahaha. Not to mention that I am not used to it anymore either after living in the tropics for almost 3 years......ugh. I was so hoping to get there this month so we would have some time to transition into the cold temps......oh well. We shall jump right into it, I suppose!

Congrats Photomile and Lor! Tex I'm so glad you heard SOMETHING at least on your visa! Hoping against hope that you get your NOA2 this week! Congrats Katchoo!

Jay I'm so sorry you are still waiting on NOA2! Keeping fingers crossed for ya! Stay on them and call your congressman's office. They will help you! They want your votes so they aim to please!

My fiancé had his medical on Monday so London should be receiving the results by Wednesday I hope. Each day brings us closer and closer!!!! :)

Btw, thanks Photomile for the info on DOS and the phone number! I showed my fiancé the post about what you said about calling them and not waiting to get the letter in the mail. He's going to call on Tuesday I think. We agreed that gave London plenty of time to receive the results, enter it into the computer that they'd received them and hopefully they'll have an interview date for us!

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

9/17/12: Received Visa in the mail

Yes! Interviews on the same day are great! Kate and I got "ours"..well, our fiances' on the same day and it will be so much better to hang out while waiting for medical 2 days before and then waiting in line outside the embassy before 7 am and all...and then we can all go out and CELEBRATE afterwards! Haha. Now if we all stay in the same hotel we will really be in trouble! ;)
